Renee has been working as a Registered Dietitian for over 15 years and has a passion for helping individuals improve their health through nutrition counselling and education. She specializes in the non-diet and health at every size (HAES) approach.

The HAES approach is one rooted in kindness and compassion and focuses on healthy behavior change and not only on weight as an outcome measure for success. Renee knows weight loss can be challenging to sustain long-term and offers individuals an alternative to the fad diets and yo-yo dieting
approach.

Renee is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor™ and is registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta.

Current programs being offered at Sage Meadows Medical Centre by Renee are:

During this 3 Month Program you will:

  • Receive education on how to manage your health condition with good nutrition
  • Be motivated to make healthy change with meaningful goal setting and weekly accountability
  • Receive 1:1 coaching and create a plan to implement healthy habits such as healthy snacking, drinking water, adding meaningful movement and meal planning
  • Overcome barriers getting in your way

Includes:

  • 1 initial 60 minute appointment (in office)
  • 6 x 30 minute follow-ups (virtual via telehealth or in office)
  • Unlimited e-mail or chat support via Practice Better App
  • Online course – 4 modules with weekly tasks emailed to your inbox.
  • Monthly installments of $250.00 + GST

During the Manage Your Weight Program you will:

  • Explore beliefs about weight, & identify reasons for wanting to lose weight
  • Set tangible and meaningful lifestyle and habit goals and create a plan for success
  • Receive education on meal planning, label reading, cooking, mindful eating and intuitive eating to give you the skills for success
  • Evaluate barriers and create supportive networks for long-term sustainable change
  • Learn how to trust your body & tune into your hunger and fullness cues
  • Reshape your relationship with activity, add mindful movement based on what your body needs

  • 1 initial 60 minute assessment
  • 6 x 30 minute follow-ups
  • Unlimited e-mail or chat support via Practice Better App.
  • 10 week online course with weekly modules to keep you on track
  • Monthly installments of $250.00 + GST
